The University of Texas at Austin's premier publication of student scholarship on Eastern Europe and Eurasia

steeer
about
Every semester at The University of Texas at Austin, students and faculty produce inspiring works of scholarship and craft. STEER is the conduit through which these manifestations flow. Our arts section is reigniting the flame sparked by Eastern European arts and crafts, while our Review is pure, sidewalk-pounding scholarship, inspired by every community of change-makers who have come before.

Spark + Texas East European & Eurasian Review
The Texas East European and Eurasian Review (TEEER) is a brand new initiative from the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies (CREEES) at The University of Texas at Austin to bring student scholarship on this region to the wider public. Every semester, undergraduate and graduate students produce excellent work across disciplines and languages of the region, but lacked the place to showcase it in a professionally edited publication.
TEEER is our answer to this gap. We welcome multidisciplinary submissions from undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates to be published in a professionally edited publication on the TEEER website. For more information on eligibility and submission guidelines, please head over to the Submissions tab.
